A great place to relax and enjoy a stroll not too far from the highway. It was a great place to walk around after being on the road. Even has a bird sanctuary where they have large birds that have been rescued and nursed back to health but can't be released back into the wild.

When I got to my hotel after driving 6 hours I was ready to find some exercise. Cypress was only a few miles drive so I easily found it and enjoyed the experience. Only a few people around so I walked all the boardwalks and saw all the ponds and birds, eagles, owls, hawks, etc. Due to drought it appeared... More

Coming from a southwest desert location, I was delighted with this cypress grove. The meandering walkway takes you through this beautiful forest with the added treat of raptor enclosures that house birds that have been injured - the eagle was awesome! And the cypress "knees" are fascinating. And this beautiful nature experience is free!

Came here early on a Saturday morning (first time here). It's a beautiful place with all the trees and the lake (pond).i loved looking at the eagles, owls, hawks etc that they have out there. Glad that we went early in the morning, it was nice and cool when we were in between the trees, but out by the pond... More

I have visited this park a half-dozen times over the years and is always a nice, scenic getaway near the heart of Jackson, TN. Admittedly, the park is starting to show its age, but all things considered, it has weathered well. The park is a walk through a cypress bog without the muddy mess. The wetland trail is about three... More

I saw on fb where someone posted about this park, and with it being only 60 miles from home, I thought it would be a great family day trip. We were very disappointed in the park. The pond was stagnant, and the man working acts like visitors should know everything about the park. Don't ask him if you don't want... More

We love to go here and walk down the different walk ways to see different parts of the park. There is a nature trail where you can see some different types of birds, etc. We enjoy going there to walk

This is a nice place to walk and visit. We enjoy looking at all of the birds. A playground would be nice.

It`s a long drive from Nashville to Memphis and Jackson seemed a great place to go for a walk. This nature park is a unique setting, a boardwalk through a cypress marsh. There are several injured raptors here in large pens. It was misting lightly while we were here and we had the place to ourselves. A bit tricky to... More
