Nice, pleasant place. We stopped in The Country Store to eat at the buffet. The food was good. There are historic items everywhere even on the walls.

If you like old trains and know about the ballad of Casey Jones the engineer, you will want to see this. Also several small shops to browse. Old country store with country buffet, cracklings cornbread, cobblers and several country foods featured.

The food has gone downhill the past 30 years and prices are VERY high for this area. The original owners sons have ruined it.

When we visited the museum had a small entrance fee but I cannot verify what they are today. This is a very nice attraction in a small rural city - please enjoy.
