Small town USA. Great restaurants. Southern charm. Boutique shops that are on the pricey side but have unique merchandise. I LOVE this town.

We enjoyed walking around downtown Franklin. There are quaint shops there and a terrific frozen yogurt shop. I like the fact that they offer a flat price small cup that you can fill as much as you want! We went twice. It's a great place to go after touring the Civil War Sites in the area. Loved it!

Downtown Historic Franklin is a great place to stroll, shop, eat or people watch. The turn-of-the-century architecture is a feast for photographers. The mix of boutique shops, with one-of-a-kind cafes, bakeries & restaurants draws tourists from far and wide.

My wife found a great shoe store with sever things she was looking for - on sale! Clothing stores were plentiful and all seemed to have great service and overall sections. Not your chain stores! Several restaurants appeared to be quite popular. Generally, the town is a bit upscale but not too expensive or out of line. I spent half... More
