A very unique downtown that seems to be one of the few left with character, wonderful little stores and shops (very few typical chain stores), excellent restaurants and extremely nice people

The historic Franklin was very delightful and one of those towns to walk up one side of the street and down the other. All kinds of shops and eateries. Parking is limited but can be found.Beautiful homes abound.

We were only there on a Monday but all that I noticed were open. I did notice that one or two restaurants were closed on Mondays when I checked their websites before we went. Hope this helps
