What a nice way to cool off on a hot day and read a little history of the NA symbols along the area. I appreciate how the city seems to provide lots of nice, public gathering places, and the sculptures placed around the river give a kind of sense of sharing beauty and pride.

Since the last time I rode it, it seems the trail has been extended to connect to the St Elmo district for more choices for food & drinks. The trail can be quite congested, especially weekends & around the aquarium. Regardless of weekend/weekday, the northeast segment is the least crowded & more picturesque. If time or distance is limited and... More

We spent the day walking around and looking at the river. It has the history of the Indian tribes of the area. Also has good restaurants and shops.

We spent some time just walking around down by the river at the Riverpark. This seems to cover several miles. We walking around near the boat docks ( the Southern Belle) and the pier and down to the Walnut St. bridge. We also walked at Riverside Park the evening before, which seems to be part of the same trail, although... More

This is a wonderful place. It helps beat the summer heat and provides shade and water to cool down in. Lots of shade and a great place to take off your shoes and walk through the refreshing water. Lots of locals visit this place. A must visit.

Wonderful area to visit. Ride the Chatanooga Ducks to hear the history and then come to the fountains and trail of tears.

Here is a great place on the Tennessee River to enjoy the view and relax with the family. Close by there is good Ice cream to cool and sweeten a hot day.

The river walk is really nice. Walk from Amnicola Highway to Lookout Mountain following the river the whole way. Many boats will pass and there are places in the downtown you can enjoy. Get your steps in and have some fun!

We walked along this & loved the views of the river. The water leading down is not only refreshing but also shows a history of the river & the Native Americans before us.
