We had a great time visiting this park, great views, a nice water feature for the kids (it was very hot that day), and they have a nice antique carrousel which was only $1 to ride. My granddaughter really loved riding it.

My six year old daughter enjoyed the splash pad after we walked across the Walnut Street Bridge. The carousel does close at 7pm, so we missed riding that by like 5 minutes. A little disappointing but the splashing cheered my daughter up.

I had read reviews about the park before we vacationed. I didn't have it worked into the itinerary, but after a leisure stroll over Walnut Bridge, the splash pad was a perfect area for the kids to cool off. There were several little kids/families there...More

We enjoyed the carousel, with grandma telling a bit about the people in the area who carve the animals. The paintings on the carousel were very nice and very historical. The older folks helping out were a bit different, but possibly not up to par...More

We went for the Pops concert followed by Fireworks. You should pack a cooler with sandwiches and drinks and chill for the afternoon into the evening. We brought a tent and low-profile chairs. The evening was pleasantly hot and went fast. The fireworks show was...More

Great stop as you hang in downtown. Can get crowded. We went late afternoon and it was enjoyable. The walk on the pedestrian bridge was the most fun. A lot of greenspace for a picnic and creative outdoor fun.

Coolidge Park is free! There is a really great merry-go-round that costs $1 per person, but the rest of the park is free. There are some great shops and places to eat close to the park, too.
