Yes it is a short ride but it’s something different. We parked at the bottom and took the ride up. It only gets really steep near the top. Definitely go off peak to avoid the lines. We went at 7 and only waited 15 minutes....More

This place is a huge rip off and the customer service is terrible. Our family had to wait over an hour and a half for the return trip up the mountain. We were told at the top that we would be able to go down...More

This is worth doing but scary as hell. We went midweek so didn't have to queue. We decided to sit at the front of the cart as we had a great view, no one was in front of us, we just had the window and...More

The only downside to this journey is the wait in line. Other than that it's a very fun experience unlike anything else you are likely to experience. If you enjoy such things, you will be fascinated by how counterbalanced rail cars simultaneously ascend and descend...More

We got there early, so only short line. Sat in the last row going up so we could really appreciate how steep the incline is. When at the top, be sure to walk down to Point Place Park for great views and a taste of...More

This tourist spot was a great place to explore. I opted for a round trip which costed me $15. Each trip duration of train was of ten minutes. It was fun to take the ride. On incline, the view was scenic and claimed to have...More

The steepest incline railway is worth doing, but as we had torrential rain that day I don't think we got the best from it. However, on a good day I imagine it would be lovely to roam the national park at the top. Views would...More

My husband is absolutely terrified of heights, but I convinced him to do this with me. We decided to start at the Lower Station and this was the best decision we could have made because he was not able to see the actually incline, which...More

I was a bit disappointed. This is fun to be sure, but you can get better views from Rock City. The parking and wait times are problematic during weekends in “high season”.

We parked up at the top near Point Park, took the Incline down & had lunch (Purple Daisy fabulous!), then took it back up again. Parking at top was easy & the meters were free when we were there a few weeks ago. But you can... More
