Rock City is definitely a must see. It is very well kept and maintained. It offers some breath taking views once you get to the heart of it. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

When you visit, buy tickets for the Incline Railway, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. It's cheaper that way. Lots of walking but a must see. Make sure your phone is fully charged because you will take ton of pics.

The crown jewel of Rock City! Relax after a stroll through the gardens and take in the views. See Rock City!

We went to lookout mountain and rode the incline railway there. Very spectacular views and history is told along the ride on the railway. Beautiful and we recommend doing this along with Ruby Falls and Rock City. They are close by.

I have visited Lookout Mountain many time over the years. I have been to Rock City, Ruby Falls, and ridden the Incline Railway countless times over the years. The area is beautiful and somewhere that I will continue to go.

Each attraction at Lookout Mountain has a price. It's nothing to drive up the mountain - but to get to the point where you can see the seven states is the entrance fee into Rock City. It's $20 to get in there. They have a... More

I know they are allowed on the trails around Point Park, but I don't recall any in the park proper. They are allowed on the Chickamauga battlefield and the Signal Mountain one.

Do you have to pay to just walk around Lookout Mountain? Or does it just cost to do Ruby Falls, Rock City Park, etc.

While you can see some of the view simply by driving up to the top, you do need to pay a small fee to access the area at the edge of the lookout, as it belongs to the National Park Service. If you have an annual pass, the... More
