This is one of my all-time favorite aquariums. This time we did the Backstage Pass of the River area and it was so much fun! It was only about 45 minutes long and we both loved it. I would recommend getting the combo ticket for the aquarium and the IMAX. We make time for the aquarium every time we come... More

Been to Atlanta, Boston, Mystic CT, and I have to say TN beat them all. We had 2 grandchildren with us and they loved it - Bothe the Ocean side and the River side were great! Throw in the Imax theater show and the day was a home run!

This is one of the best aquariums! We have been going here since I was a young kid. We are from Atlanta and I would go to this one over the Atlanta one. It's always pleasant. It can get a little crowded, but it's fun nonetheless.

Modern facility, cool architecture, inexpensive, fun, informative and close to the river and other Chattanooga attractions. Butterfly garden on the top floor, lots of cool fish and marine life plus a whole building of freshwater/river life.

The Tenessee Aquarium is lovely, it's amazing! I had a great time there. I often don't love aquariums, but this one is on the top of the list to revisit. And I will go back there! The aquarium does a lot for conservation, it's a day well spend! The only thing about the aquarium is that you need enough time.... More

Everyone from toddler to grandparent will enjoy this place. Our young one loved touching the horseshoe crab and I could have spent an hour in the butterfly garden or looking at the jellyfish exhibit. For my husband, watching the penguins zip around under water was another highlight.

This is a great place to visit downtown. Fair admission pricing and a lot of bang for the buck. Many hotels you can walk from to get here. Lots of restaurants and other attractions to visit here. get on their mailing list and get coupons and special event notices.

This was our second trip to the aquarium (the first visit was 12 years ago!). We're a family of 4 (daughters are 22 and 25) who were on a quick getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The aquarium is well maintained and very interesting. The River building is HUGE and well designed to take you through the entire... More

This aquarium is very educational and easy enough for all ages to enjoy. Be sure to carve out enough time as it will draw you in and you'll want to stay awhile.
