The Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga is a great place to spend the afternoon with your young children. Although I feel it is probably smaller than most kids museums we have been too; it is laid out so well that you may not even notice....More

I took my 8 year old niece to the Creative Discovery Museum this weekend. It was a huge disappointment. Several about 1/3 of the exhibits were being refurbished and were closed. The museum appeared tired, exhibits were broken or over used. NEEDS a overhaul, cost...More

My daughter is 10 and this was by all means way too small for her. There’s really nothing at the front that indicates age appropriateness but I literally just lost my money. It was nearly $50 (2 adults and 1 child). We watched a science...More

The museum was directly across from our hotel, so it was super convenient. Our 6 year old absolutely LOVED it and was upset about leaving. The water table upon entry and the dinosaur sand excavation were his favorites. Will definitely visit again!

Kids had a lot of fun. For the parents: parking was easy, plenty of bathrooms inside and numerous restaurants in the area.

The parking lot is quite large right behind the museum. I think you could park an RV there.
