We choose Henry Horton because it was close to Columbia Tennessee. The park is beautiful. We stayed at the Inn located on the State Park. It is a very tired building with old furniture, mold in the bathrooms and throughout the building. Breakfast is basic...More

We camped at HH in a big rig 5th wheel for about 2 weeks. Quite a challenge without sewer hookups but it can be done. There is water and electricity at all the sites and 2 shower/bath houses. There is PLENTY of shade and most...More

A beautiful setting along the river with nice paved and large campsites. Well run and kept grounds with nice hiking trails, restaurant, biking trails.

We were disappointed in the quality of the campsites, and we very surprised at the lack of cleanliness in the bathhouses. Floors in the bathhouses were muddy, trash cans were full, and shower curtains were covered with mildew. The trees are very nice, but there's...More

Went for a hike at Henry Horton and found it to be below average for a Tennessee state park. It's just a personal reaction and the park is probably fine for picnics and such but doesn't have the wow factor for hiking.

It is inexpensive but the inn is bare bones. It is old and needs new carpet. The restaurant had good food and price is reasonable.

We love the sites, all asphalt pads, very spacious. Campground is laid out nicely and the Park is beautiful. The bath house is nasty! We camped 10 days and it continued to get worse. The floors look like it flooded and the filth never cleaned....More

My granddaughter and I went to Henry Horton for a two night camping trip. The primitive tent sites were perfect for us. Primitive meant no water and electricity onsite and about a 1/4 mile walk to a bathhouse. We were able to drive directly to...More

When you go to the website to make a reservation, it will show you a photo of the site & gives a good description, including how level it is. We stayed in a handicap accessible site, #53, across from the bath house.
