It's a "tourist trap" but who cares it's fun! Good place to stretch your legs, thankfully it was the off season so it wasn't packed.

We spent time walking around and very surprised with all the variety of merchandise they had. They have a courtyard with loads of props for photo ops, game room for kids, clothes, toys, books, jewelry. Nice selection.

Being so large, there are many options for reasonably priced souvenirs, food, and photos. Because we spent $50, we were offered a nice reuseable souvenir bag. The most interesting part was the wall of historic photos of the area located in the area behind the...More

The food in the cafe was good. Lots of different rooms to explore and lots of things to see. Plenty of variety and plenty of opportunity to purchase a memento of your visit. The outside street is also good to explore.

We enjoyed some shopping and tasty fudge. Could be a great photo-op with small children. I especially liked the story behind the business... great marketing for its era!

My uncle would call this place a gyp joint, but I think it was fun and cheesy. It was a nice place to stretch our legs after a long drive. They sell a lot of junk, but also some unique items. I actually bought a...More

We were there on a Saturday at the peak of Sturgis, and it was so packed we hardy wanted to go in. We did eat, but we didn't bother trying to work our way through the crowds to do any shopping.

Basically right across the interstate. (7.6 miles or 11 minutes) The drive through the Badlands returns via the Interstate. It is a great drive.

We went through 2 times about 8 days apart and never experienced that. No real problems besides the crowds but it was peek tourist season.
