Stunning views that make for an amazing drive. This was my favorite area to drive in all the Black Hills.

If you are in the Deadwood or Spearfish area, I would highly suggest taking an hour out of your trip for this drive. It personifies what the Black Hills are all about.

Even after being in Custer State Park and enjoying many scenic Black Hills Drives, we enjoyed our trip through Spearfish Canyon. A stream runs down the side of the road and we saw a lot of people fishing. Very picturesque.

Absolutely! Because this is a popular area for tourists, the roads are wide enough to accommodate a large size RV, even on the curves.

No worries. The road is on the bottom of the canyon with beautiful walls on each side of the road. No scary drop-offs.

I'm looking for a cabin to rent that is very near a stream/ brook in spearfish canyon. We stayed in such a place with my parents and again with my children. Not sure it still exists, but hope to take the grandchildren to a spot that holds such dear memories.
