Our children really enjoyed this place. I thought our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. However, if you are claustrophobic I DO NOT recommend going here! We took the long tour which has some pretty tight spots and takes you very deep inside the cave....More

We took the short tour as we had 2 kids with us and they enjoyed the experience. The adults were a little less enchanted as we didn't stop to look at some of the features in the cave nor did our 14-year old guide tell...More

Thank you for your input on your time spent with us and we are glad you visited. We aim to provide the best possible experience. Our Crystal (Short, main level) Tour is only 30% of the actual cave formations we offer in the Adventure (Long,...More

We took the Crystal tour with our 3 and 5 year old kids. The tour was an easy enough walk but was not too informative. Our tour guide was 14 years old (about to turn 15) and he did not really explain much about the...More

We did the less intense of the two tours as my kids had never been to a cave before. The tour was interesting and informative. One of my daughters said she wished we'd done the more extensive tour, but we had to move on.

Our family of 5 had so much fun on this expedition! We arrived between tours, and the attendant gave our kids a deal on the "gold panning" experience. When we actually went on the tour, I found it to be challenging, but not too difficult...More

What a nice find near Rapid City! Very informative and picturesque. Thanks to Max and his funny and "cheesy" commentary. He was a very enthusiastic tour guide. Definitely a must see. Thanks for a good time.

Really enjoyed this cave tour. Our tour guide Hannah was very good. Would go again when back in the Black Hills. Easy to get to also.

So glad you had a fun time. There is so much to do in the Black Hills, hope you return soon and see all that the Black Hills of South Dakota offers, and stop by and say hi at the cave too!

This cave is huge! We did the adventure tour and we were glad we did. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We did see a lot of the cave twice, but it was still interesting.

We took the longer tour. It was worth it. Lots of walking. And careful stepping. The caves were different on every level. Crevasses you had to walk sideways thru and areas you had to duck and crouch, to huge open caverns. Our guide Hannah Knight...More
