We didn't go in with expectations beyond curiosity, so we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Our only regret was we didn't sit in saloon for a drink (soda) and popcorn because we thought the diner was open. Only when we got out of the visit did...More

We thought this would be a fun stop for our teens. After reading several reviews we decided to stop. I thought the price was reasonable, about $40 for 6 of us. The man at the desk was very nice and told us that everything was...More

We've driven by here many times on our trip out west and finally stopped , so glad we did. From the man selling the tickets to the "bartender" at the saloon , we were treated with kindness and gratitude. "Wild Bill" let our 13 year...More

I'm not even going to bother commenting on the antiques or the buildings or the entrance fees. What really disgusted me was the animal neglect. We saw a miniature horse with overgrown hooves and another horse with flies covering its belly. See pictures below.

This stop is a nice break from all the driving! You will see the signs on the exit that you need to get off. You will also see the large skeleton T-Rex with it's human. Look for it. There is a picnic area and we...More

Interstate 90 the long way across South Dakota is pretty barren and monotonous, and we stopped here because they had a gas station. Once there, we decided to tour the museum and the Old West town. The museum itself is pretty cluttered and reminded me...More

Stopped here to take in some of the memorabilia from "Dances with Wolves". Surprised by how much western memorabilia there was and a charming old town setting from the old west. Great fun for all.

This place was much cooler than we expected. It has an unbelievable amount of authentic buildings of the era, and the matching antiques to boot. Also a lot of movie props from Dancing with the Wolves. There is an admission fee, @10.00, but it was...More

We were headed home, needed fuel & saw this little village near a gas station. I had heard about it from some locals and we decided to go through the town. It was great! All of the buildings are authentic, having been moved from their...More

I would say plan to spend a good 2-3 hours there. There is a whole town to walk through and a gift shop. We were there for 2 hours when we went but depending on how fast you want to go through it it could take a longer or... More
