The wines tend to the sweet end but their lunches are completely worth a stop. I love Hill City but there are few restaurants that serve as interesting and delicious lunch as Prairie Berry.

Many different types of wine to taste, sip or purchase. I particularly enjoy the different jams and compotes. Don't leave without buying their Cinnamon Honey.

My husband and I were driving from Massachusetts to Colorado as our end destination when we saw the sign for this winery in South Dakota. It is truly worth the stop even if its not on your itinerary. I believe it was Kathy who waited on us while we were there , she was wonderful to talk to and very... More

Was drawn in to try the famous Red A** Wine. Will now be ordering more online. I live in an area with award winning wines as well. You are my new favorite!

Beautiful place to stop and enjoy a glass of wine or three. Prairie Berry Winery has several wines with cool names to sample. We purchased several bottles and even ordered another case. We do share, so please don't judge. We will be certain to stop by again if we are in the area.

We stopped to try the wine and look at their amazing gift area. Ordered a sandwich for the kids, as they were hungry. They had it out in a timely fashions the kids loved it. Always enjoy stopping to sample the new wines.

This review is long overdue, but the experience is still such a positive memory that I felt compelled to share. We were on a vacation in the Black Hills and stayed at a cabin near Hill City. We had planned to visit Prairie Berry and we are so thankful that we did. I have to say, while the wine &... More

Our friends from out of state had never been to Prairie Berry before. We brought them in for some wine tasting. Very pleasant time. They can definitely understand why we really like Praiaire Berry Wines.

A very nice winery. Very modern, outstanding service with the option for fine lighter food as well. Again, the service is outstanding. We can't wait to go again. The wine options are excellent, our favorite is the Red Rhubarb, I will be ordering a case soon!
