OPEN FOR 2018 on Saturday, May 26. Open Memorial Day - Labor Day. An authentic experience - learn about the history of gold mining in the Black Hills, and try your hand at panning for gold. Guided tours, gold panning lessons. Daily tour at 2 pm. Last panning lesson starts at 4:30 pm.

Thank you for your question! Our tour takes around 1 hr 15 minutes, and panning is around an hour and a half. You can certainly spend more time, but I would say a good 3 hours is reasonable. Hope we see you soon!
