I thought the cemetery was just OK. We saw Wild Bill, Calamity Jane and Potato Creek Johnny's final resting places. The original tombstone of Wild Bill has been replaced with some monument type maker. I would have preferred to see the original. They charge $2...More

Had a fun weekend get away with my boyfriend that happened to be during Octoberfest. Went to check out The cemetery and see wild bill. While there at The lookout point above the town, my boyfriend proposed 😊💕 was wonderful.

A great stop!. (If your in the mood to walk - uphill) The admittance was $2.00. You get a map of the cemetery that mentions some of the notables and their locations, and a history of the cemetery. The most notable of the cemetery residents...More

This is a bit of a hike for an older person. I wish they would somehow be able to drive thru, but i understand the reason. It is extremely interesting for being a cemetery. We sat and rested by the flag pole and enjoyed the...More

My wife and I enjoyed visiting the cemetery but it would have been even better had we taken a tour rather than went on our own. Our visit happened to coincide with a tour bus and we were able to listen in to the thorough...More

Must be able to walk up hills. Interesting stop to pay homage to Wild Bill and Calamity Jane. Interesting reading other notables buried there. The book up front was also interesting to view. Glad I went, worth the few bucks it cost to see.

Nothing exciting but it is worth a quick stop to see the grave of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Some other notables are buried there as well. Cost is $2 which helps maintain the cemetery. There is a good view of Deadwood from one...More

The entire cemetery is on a hillside. The walkways can be steep, but much of it is paved, so perhaps a wheelchair could be used.

I haven't been in winter, but I can tell you the road to get up to the cemetery was a small winding road so if there is snow or ice, it would probably be treacherous. I've just moved to MT from the South and it seems that... More

We did not take it, but there is a tour bus that makes the trip there. However it is right in town, and there is plenty of free parking at the cemetery.
