I played a 25 cent slot machine and made enough off of it to pay for our lunch and then some. Had a great lunch at the upstairs bar. Unlike the casinos in Las Vegas, this place is small and friendly, and doesn't feel like...More

We were on a treasure hunt, an activity planned by our bicycling tour guide. One clue was to "find something Kevin Kostner" in Deadwood. The Midnight Star is the place. Posters, clothing, scenes from filming. Enough to keep one busy for at least an hour....More

It's so nice when you get fun dealers that will talk with you and share things with you. A small quaint place with a very friendly atmosphere. We all four had a great time.

I stopped in here to play while others were shopping. I was greeted by a friendly waitress and offered a drink. It had both new and old machines. It was a nice break from walking.

When we first visited we were turned off by the young male bartender, the older female wasn't very much better. We then visited, giving it a second chance and met a young lady tending the bar. She is a lifetime resident of Deadwood with knowledge...More

Our group of 4 recently had a Friday night dinner at the Midnight Star. The atmosphere is great, dark wood, great move memorabilia and a toasty warm fireplace on a chilly night. The food was really nothing to remember. Salad size was generous, soup tasted...More

We spent several hours of our gambling time in this establishment during the course of the Thanksgiving weekend. Not a lot of slots, but some fun ones! Several of us escaped with a few extra dollars!

We visited Midnight Star for lunch after our trip in the yellow school bus that starts from and returns to the Midnight Star. A bonus is that you get a discount voucher from the tour to use in Lil's bar. The whole place is fantastic...More

The Midnight Star is great! Lots of movie memorabilia to see from Kevin Costner's career. They also have a cute and reasonably priced gift shop. I wanted to buy a rocks glass for a friend and this was one of the only places that I...More

I agree with the customer service. Did you have a bartender by the name of Jake?Did you have any dealings with the card dealers?? All very rude...That place needs new management and new employees terribly bad!!!

Never had a problem with wait staff. Ours actually took photos for us of our group at our table. Did not visit bar area. We would definitely return to the Midnight Star.
