Great little place for any history buff to spend an afternoon. We enjoyed it and learned more about our American history. Staff and tour guides were pleasant and informative. Allow at least two hours for the tour and viewing the site.... don't forget the cemetery!

I guess I was surprised how small this "plantation" house is. I didn't realize that not all owners were rich. Interesting inside on everyday life on a plantation.

This house and grounds are Revolutionary War remnants, much older than we expected, but in pretty good condition thanks to ongoing restoration. The grounds were beautiful and the guide was really informative and interesting.

Its a very good place to take kids during the reenactment weekend a lot of hands on stuff for kids to do an see my grans ages 6 an 11 enjoyed it a lot we go every year
