No. It's not magic. It's nuclear energy. Walk thru the interactive tour and learn more about this remarkable source of electricity for our homes, businesses, schools, highways, and much more.

The Duke World of Energy has been around for decades but still well kept and the staff is helpful in sharing information about the production of nuclear energy and the efforts to protect the environment and the citizens of the area.

Interesting and informative with the staff being friendly and helpful. Their visitors center explains the many forms of electrical generation being used today. This location is also near dead center in the path of the 2017 eclipse.

While the plant produces nuke watts, they promote all the other ways they produce electricity, hydro electric, fossil fuels, wind and solar. It's a true propaganda fest, about how safe it is to rely on big energy for your needs.
