When we went it was a little run down but still very enjoyable for younger kids (under 12). The little tour was educational and the kids took lots of pictures and enjoyed the interactive exhibits.

Interesting exhibits much to learn about energy and how are country generates energy and moves it around the states. The tour is self guided and free. A great FREE experience for families and retirees alike. The butterfly garden is worth the walk. The exhibits are becoming a little dated and are due for update by Duke

Have to see museum if you live in the area. It's free and you can learn a lot if you have an open mind. DO check out the eclipse section in the lobby, it is great!!

Toured only. Fascinating. Interesting hands in interactive displays to learn about this field of important science. Helpful staff. Art show in Lobby when we visited. Clean and plentiful parking. Amazing access to this setting and perfect for kids with curiosity.

This is a nuclear plant. The visitor center has a hands on story of the history of energy[ you walk through a display and view videos of the different forms of energy. Good for kids. They also have a butterfly garden. Nice place to go.

Very nice building. Great displays. Explained well. Uses different ways to show how it works. Recommend for ages 6 and up if interested in how things work. Around Christmas time, nice display of Christmas trees decorated in the lobby. Would recommend scheduling in an hour for this and then eat dinner at The Light House Restaurant close by.

The World of Energy is a great learning facility for children aged 7 to 70. You learn a little about the history of the area, and get a feel how a nuclear plant works. It's well worth the trip.
