One of the oldest courses on the Southern Strand, this club offers large greens, and no parallel holes; two characteristics that tend to be absent from many of the modern courses at Myrtle Beach.

Played the Founders Club with friends as part of a golf package. It was in nice condition and fun to play. Nothing special, but above average. Would play it again.

From the time we arrived the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The course was in excellent shape with true rolling greens. Multiple tee boxes to fit your game. Ample fairways on most holes and trouble is avoidable. Going back on my next trip!

Enjoyed playing this older course. Got to drive through the waste bunkers in the sand from tee box to green and had to cross many roads to get from hole to hole. Throughout the round we found some very interesting holes This course was in...More

I honestly wasn't expecting much of this course, but it was a lot of fun to play. Greens had nice speed and rolled true. Lots of meandering through the residential streets but that's nitpicking. Play here if you get a chance.

The course is nice, tough play on many holes. It has waste bunkers and traps. You must avoid the sand. My brother is 7 handicap and he was in the sand several times. I avoided most of the sand as my handicap is 20+ BY...More

This is a poor choice for a golf outing. Waste bunkers give the course a dry, dirty feel. Twosome sent out directly after our foursome... terrible course management. With so many fantastic courses available in MB this one can easily be crossed of your list....More

Course was in good shape, especially considering it's March. Lots of waste bunkers lining nearly every hole. Staff was accommodating and let us move back our tee time the day of our round (the course we played in the morning had a frost delay).

Founders is a special golf course with massive fairway waste areas, superb grass fairways and excellent greens. There are few cart paths as most of the riding is through the fairway waste areas. Keeping the ball on the fairway is always helpful, but if in...More

Very good greens, grass in the fairways, scenic holes, excellent bunker style, drive through the waste bunkers, and great weather, what a great day of golf. If you haven't played this course, it is well worth the drive from Myrtle Beach. About a 50 min....More

This course is great fun for seasoned players. Course management is a must if you are to stay out of the waste bunkers. I play here often as course drains well after rain and play moves along well. Love these greens.
