I am fortunate enough to have played a lot of golf in a lot of places, and this course is one of the best I have ever played. It's challenging, offers all the amenities you desire, but most of all it's beautiful. The drive in sets the tone for a wonderful day of golf. The course is lined with trees,... More

Entrance to Caledonia was just the start of a great day. Course is in top shape 3/1/17 weather beautiful and people happy with smiles. Played from the white tees ended up hitting 3wood on most holes driver would have been to much club. Great lay out with plenty of danger on stray shots. Greens are true with lots of slopes... More

It is difficult but beautiful and well maintained. It is one of the premier golf courses in the Grand Strand. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach for golf it is worth driving south to Pawleys Island to play this course

1st rate golf course, with ambience, property an antebellum rice plantation. High green fee. Clubhouse for lunch, good food with South Carolina "low country" scenery and views. Sister course, almost across the road,True Blue equally classy.

Just finished up a nine game visit to South Carolina and this is my first review on the courses we played. I found Caledonia Golf and Fish Club to be exceptional enough to rate a hole-by-hole description with accompanying photographs. Caledonia Golf and Fish Club is located in the community of Pawley's Island which is just south of Myrtle Beach... More

We lunched today at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. The low country design of the Club House was breathtaking built beside the canals surrounded by old rice fields. The place is very historical!!!The view was so peaceful and tranquil as we dined on the outside porch!!! I ordered the shrimp bisque which was superb!!! My main entree was mouthwatering.... crab... See what you can get for your best price, but whatever it is, it's worth every bit of it. Best golf in Myrtle Beach. Don't let the card fool you on having to play the back tees for this "short" course. It's only a par 70, and the 9th hole is just over 100 yds long. Other par 4s' stretch... More

Every time I come to Myrtle Beach it is a must to play Caledonia. The drive into the course is lovely. Oak lined drive with Spanish Moss hanging from the trees. When you come around the corner you see the old plantation house which is now the clubhouse. The course is amazing. The 18th hole is really a great hole... More

A nicely kept challenging course. Be careful of number 9' a short punishing par 3. Don't miss the complimentary chowder at the turn. Classic and spicey! Food service average. No clubs cleaned. Bag drop area could not get it together. Long round because of double tee off, back and front. Long wait at the turn. Poor to absent marshaling. A... More

My group played Caledonia on our way out of Myrtle Beach following the Myrtle Beach World Am. I think their rate is high but since some had not played there, I wanted to get it off their "to be played" list in MB. The staff for the most part was friendly and helpful with one exception at the bag drop.... More
