This historical church was first built in the 1700s as an Episcopal church. This was before the Revolutionary War. South Carolina was one of the original 13 colonies and grew to become one of the wealthiest and most influential states before the Civil War. American royalty owned plantations along the coast. The labor was on the backs of the slaves... More

Step back in time when plantations ruled and live oaks dominated the landscape. It is a tranquil, beautiful location right on the river.

We were expecting to see a church built in the 1700s, and hoped to go inside. Current church (1913) is on site of old church, but kept locked.

We visited the All Saints Church this past Saturday. This old cemetery has so much history. One famous person buried there is James Dickey. Just walking around the grounds provides to a wonderful history of the Waccamaw Point area of Georgetown County, SC.

All Saints has been in Pawleys for a long time. The church is beautiful. There is a cemetery across the street where you can see many old tombstones and imagine what life was like for those people. Many children did not live long, making me appreciate life in this day and age.

All Saints Church is beautiful during the day, and beautiful yet spooky at night. Make sure you read the story of Alice Flagg before visiting.

We stayed at the Litchfield Beach and Golf resort and had heard that the famous Alice Flagg was buried here. It was very close by so we went at dusk and we were the only ones there. It is a pretty small cemetery with an beautiful iron gate around it. Alice's grave is easy to find . It is marked... More

Step back in time with a visit to the All Saints Church. Early morning or early evening are the best times. Don't forget your bug spray.
