With cooler weather, the campground was almost empty and much quieter than other times of the year. Good fishing at the pier, though the end is closed from hurricane damage.

Location is super right on the water front with a nice long fishing pier. Camp sites and cabins with loads of walking trails. Just a mile away from market commons area of Myrtle Beach and its movies theaters ,bars, restaurants and parks.

This is a beautiful park with a great pier! For being the middle of October there were a lot of people there enjoying the beach and fishing from the pier. It was fun talking to the fishermen there to find out what they were catching....More

Other than the fact that it cost us $10 to enter, it was a beautiful place to visit. The pier wasn't open completely, but there were a lot of people fishing. It provided a great view of the beach and ocean.

Nice place. Clean. Crowded in summer but not as much as the MB boardwalk area.Worth the visit and less expensive than Huntington State Park.

Have heard good things about MBSP, like clean, uncrowded, private, nice beach. Did not disappoint. Easy parking, easy beach access, nice pier, restrooms that are not trashed, and a clean, well kept beach. Will be back.

Despite Hurricane Florence, MBSP has bounced back to being as beautiful as ever, minus a few trees. The grounds are wonderful, the pier is really nice and there is a good gift shop and ice cream there. Have camped there and love going as often...More

Myrtle Beach State Park is beautiful. The beach was not crowded and very clean. There was camping and trails to hike and a cute little gift shop at the end of the pier.

Not that I am aware of. Go to the park's website where there is more information on the park's facilities and amenities. However, I did not see any bike rentals.
