The day we played it was raining (monsoon) and we took a rain check for later in the day. The staff were brill given everyone doing the same. Given the weather conditions, we were allowed the buggies on the fairways which helped keep the focus...More

Played recently and we had a blast. Because the course runs along the Waterway you may experience some challenging winds. Fun times.

Just played this course this week. It’s been a bad winter for Myrtle Beach and the greens here have been destroyed. Most of them look like dirt with green spray paint. If you’re spending big bucks on this course I would wait a few weeks...More

Loved this course and I will play it again. Many scars from a tough winter and un-seasonable spring. However, many of the greens were recovering, some still bumpy but manageable. The layout of the course is great and challenging. I was not happy with the...More

The course is fun to play and in pretty good condition. The scares of a tough winter are there but the course should recover. Great practice facilities and a friendly staff make this a good place as a golf course choice.

Great proshop and bag drop service. Excellent practice facilities with range balls included in green fee. Unfortunately they were going off both tees on my day putting pressure on me to go early or risk catching up on a 20-something group of golfers. The course...More

Stay away until the greens have recovered from the fingas that has killed about half of them. The greens that have the fungas are like putting on rolled hard dirt. Ruins your day when paying a premium to play at Grand Dunes.

Beautiful tract of land but many of the greens are basically painted dirt after the hard winter. The fairways are also very sparse and so you need to constantly improve your life unless you want to put on dirt. It's possible that by June or...More

Overall, it was a great experience! I love the holes along the inter coastal waterways. Unfortunately it was kind of sprinkling with on and off showers, which really slowed the greens down. Staff there is wonderful!!!!!

This is one of our favorite Strand courses. Conveniently located. It had rained extremely hard, late the night before our tee time. We had concerns about cart path only golf but, this course drains very well and were able to access the fairways in carts....More

Grand Dunes drains well and is one of the finer courses in the area. If it is not ready they will let you know. I would be surprised if it's still wet as the weather is supposed to be nice and sunny. I bet it won't be cart... More
