Misogyny and patriarchy are alive in the deep south! This course doesn't appear to be welcoming to women. I am a woman who organized a round with four tee times for a mix of men and women golfers. The Scotish man who was in charge...More

Played the granddaddy course in Myrtle beach, built in 1927 a grand mature course with lots of water and tough pin placements. Greens were in excellent condition with interesting fairway approach’s , lots of sand and lots of flowers. A very classic low country clubhouse...More

Best maintained course in the area, fairways and greens were perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they looked great in their Scottish attire. Would definatly play again.

There are many favorable reviews for this golf course. However, the condition of the course on this day was subpar. The course was very wet & soggy. All of the fairways were covered with pine needles and clumps of grass. Not acceptable on a beautiful...More

This is one of the best courses we've played on the Grand Strand. Every aspect of it from tee to green is in excellent shape. The fairways are fairly wide and forgiving, but position is still important on many holes. Water comes into play on...More

Nice course. Played each of last 3 years here. Well kept course. Replay rates are high. Should cut golfers a little break playing an additional 9 holes in the afternoon.
