Spent three nights here in our RV and thoroughly enjoyed this park. From beach walks to bike rides to birdwatching, there is no lack of things to do in this park whether you head off on your own or take part in one of the ranger led activities. It's easy to access, right off Route 17, but far away from... More

This was a random stop that we made while visiting Charleston. The drive up from Charleston was a little over an hour, and it was WELL worth it. There is so much in this park. We could have explored for days and days! Admission was $5/adult and $3.50 for kids 6-12. We toured Atalaya, and that was very pretty and... More

When seeing this summer home from the outside I thought it looked like a prison, going inside the home changed my mind! I was transported back a hundred years to a beautiful cocktail party in the courtyard. Amazing!

This beach is wonderful. Very wide and with no development around so a very natural setting. Decent rest facilities too. We loved the marsh boardwalks with lots of birds and multiple alligators along with lots of crestacean at low tide. I'm staying in north myrtle beach and Huntington is the nicest beach we've been to so far.

We had a great time when touring the park. Beach was not crowded and we were able to see a couple alligators. The history is nice as was the visit to Atalanya house.

This was our 5th time to the park and enjoyed it as usual. The beach is a lot better than the one outside our hotel so we usually make a day trip here once when we visit the area. We also really enjoy going for a walk and seeing the various wildlife in the marshy area and it has great... More
