Brookgreen Garden is a beautiful place, the setting is amazing. At certain times of the year they have outdoor concerts. There are interesting things for children and adults. The Christmas event is spectacular! Truly a must see.

This year we did January and were able to do the Silent Cities cemetery tour which is only done in January and February when the snakes are sleeping. Yes, you have to walk into the woods and first is the European model cemetery for the...More

Must see! It was a little cold but beautiful, even new displays. Always a great walk even in the cold.

We saw the main part of the gardens which was at one time 4 different plantations. The gardens with their sculptures and fountains were very pretty and well maintained. They have a live oak allee which is similar to the entrance to 12 Oaks in...More

This was an amazing light display. We strolled thru the gardens which were lit with an array of different colored lights, candles, plants. There was also music being played. It is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year!

This is a must see if you are in the area. You could spend days here in the gardens alone. The sculptures in the gardens just add to their beauty. All the wildlife that is there makes the whole experience even better.

Love this place. This time we took a toddler. Short visit. Nice walk. It was actually a good place to let them explore a bit. Need to go back.

Attended the New Year’s Eve stroll through the gardens with thousands of candles, an 80 ft tree with 130,000 lights, carolers, and hot chocolate. It was so beautiful we walked around for 2-1/2 hours in unusual 30 degree temperatures. Don’t miss the Night of a...More

Hi, I work at Brookgreen, we have had mostly very positive feedback on the exhibit. Kids love it and some big kids too! It's only here through April.

We have visited in Sept. and Oct. Both times were ideal weather, and, the gardens are planted with evergreens and non blooming seasonal plants that extend the “flowering” season. It really is unique in the fact that it’s as... More
