Brookgreen Gardens is a gem. I enjoy visiting gardens, arboretums and conservatories and this is as good as any I have visited elsewhere. They have several areas to visit, mostly outdoors, but there are some indoor exhibits as well. The small zoo is interesting but...More

If you’ve visited the Grand Strand before and have not seen Brookgreen Gardens, you should! Beautiful grounds, awesome sculptures, outstanding ambience and don’t miss the cotton plantation tour and lecture. I’ve not been here for the Christmas show yet, but plan to this year.

What a heavenly place! Art, sculpture, plants, fountains, easy walking paths, beautiful view,s photo ops, informative tours, highly accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Various seasonal events. Just an outstanding way to spend a day or two. I'd stop here every time I could.

We had been advised to take in the gardens and did enjoy our visit. It is beautiful and if you are into more artsy things you might enjoy it more. We loved the flowers, seeing the alligators etc.

The Lego exhibit is not here this year, but we have "Ribbit the Exhibit" until July 9th. It's a charming exhibit of larger than life copper frog sculptures. Our guests have really been enjoying it!
