A nice quiet place to visit, and to seem like you're "getting away from it all" while still somewhat in the heart of the Myrtle Beach area. Lots of walking if you like, and affronting the ocean too for a nice variety. Some reports of...More

This was a last minute idea... and a nice one. The only complaint we can offer is the lack of restrooms.

This park is so worth the visit. Not because it's free, but because of the serenity and beauty of the surrounding nature. You can walk trails all the way to the water's edge at the Intra Coastal where there are few houses and no commercial...More

Lovely park to enjoy the intercostal and marsh views. Very serene and quiet. Many types of marsh inhabitants. Several trails for walking. Saw several people fishing. If you have a phobia of crabs or things rustling around in the leaves this is not the place...More

Lovely quiet walk, good for birdwatching. Small dock for fishing. At low tide, good to bring kids for catching critters. Short trails in wooded areas and over walkways.

Kudos and thanks to all the volunteers and generous people who keep this "park" open. There are walking paths (unpaved) through the woods, boardwalks through the marsh. The birder in our group spotted a wide variety of species, the most dramatic being the Painted Buntings....More

This park exceeded my expectations, with fantastic boardwalk and nature trails. We saw a Painted Bunting, need I say more?
