We've been here a few times, usually during the week. Last visit was during a holiday week and parking was overflowing so we went elsewhere. Usually clean and well kept. Dining and beverages nearby. Nice place if it isn't too busy.

I can only say this is a remarkable place. I have been here 3x in 3 weeks. The first time was planned, and the second and third were spontaneous. We just could not get enough of the beach and the County Park made it spectacular....More

Great parking, bathrooms and changing areas. Long pier to watch the waves on. Nice firm beach sand, easy to walk on.

So nice to have showers, rest rooms and changing rooms open to the public. Changing stalls smell terrible, but are dry and private. Nice to be able to shower off the sand and salt (outside and public) before heading home.

Great beach. Parking is a little difficult to find. There are a few places to eat close by and great ice cream!

I agree with Curtis C, Shem Creek is awesome... Pages Okra Grill is fantastic! Huge menu and very affordable. There is a decent restaurant overlooking the backwater at Isle of Palms marina.

Unfortunately no... and we walked extensively up and down the beach (from the Isle of Palms County Park) just to explore the coastline a little bit.
