Its a nice small lighthouse. The views are nice. There are some shops around the marina. However, be prepared to pay to get into Sea Pines ($6) and that's just to get to the lighthouse. Then you'll have to pay again to access the lighthouse. It's not that impressive and for what you end up paying it's not worth it.

The Hungry Detective and wife explored the marina and lighthouse on a lazy Sunday morning at Hilton Head. Lots of history and wonderful gift shop for the golfer, boater and collector. Great items for sale!!! Great views and and lots of history as you walk your way to the top. VERDICT: Go to the top and lookout for miles!!!

We stay in Sea Pines Plantation when we are here within walking distance to the lighthouse. We see it daily. It is very pretty. The area is a great place to walk around the marina to look at yachts, eat dinner, listen to live music daily, people watch or shop. There is a playground for children and beautiful trees. It... Step to the top there is a gift shop there and lots of memorabilia to see and read on the way up. Gift shops located both top ad bottom of Lighthouse. Some of the products are authentic and some are plastic & def not worth the money when u see "made in china" w a $200 price tag for a... More

I paid the small fee of $6.00 to walk up the wooden staircase to the top of the lighthouse. On each of the landings has historical information about the lighthouse and local area. The area is beautiful but all the yachts that were in the harbour were gone because of "Hurricane Matthew". Construction was taking place and estimated that it... More

I might be biased as I just love lighthouses, but it really is such a significant building in the area. The museum inside really is worth checking out. Also, there is a little shop at the bottom and one on the top with really cool stuff.

Lots of history with this lighthouse. Harbour Town is a nice area and several restaurants and shops in the area. It will cost you $6 to drive to this area and appears to be an upscale area of Hilton Head.

You have to pay $8 to enter Harbour Town. This is not a toll or bridge crossing fee. Drive to Harbour Town and say this is it ? 3 restaurants, an ice cream parlor, souvenir store and marina. Parking is not plentiful unless you are staying in one of the hotels/inns/condos. Finished visiting in less than 2 hours (including the... More

This place is perfect for a night time get away. The light house is calm and has a soothing affect on any who are able to see it's glow. The only downside is that you must pay $6.00 to get in.

We had a great day at Harbour Town. We attended the Spring Fest which included a sidewalk sale, local band Deas-Guyz in concert and climbing the lighthouse. We had ice cream from the Cinnamon Bear Country Store and sat out in the red rocking chairs to enjoy the sun. My granddaughter enjoyed playing in the park with many children from... More
