This is a beautiful sanctuary featuring cypress swampland and wildlife. It is birdwatching perfection. I enjoyed hiking the boardwalk trail among cypress knees, watching water snakes, deer, and birds. There is a quaint gift shop.

Luckily, a friend told me about this place while I was in SC. it is very remote-thank goodness for my GPS-but worth the effort. They have a 1 1/2 mile boardwalk through the tupelo.cypruss swamp, plus guided canoe trips. I walked, and if it was...More

I am not sure about the scooters for seniors. That would be a great idea. I would call them. If you are healthy adult it is a nice walk. If you are an older adult with any kind of foot problems, well, it IS... More
