Southern Om is an oasis from the surrounding world dedicated to promoting total well-being and life balance in a fun, friendly, clean and nurturing environment. At Southern Om, we offers two styles of hot yoga: Southern Flow where practitioners move through a series of postures to the rhythm of deep breaths, in a room heated to about 95°; and Southern 26, a series of 26 postures where each pose is held for 20, 30 or 60 seconds in a room heated to approximately 105°.These types of yoga are designed to challenge the body and free the sprit. So what does that mean if you are a beginner? It means you'll love it. You can modify every pose and know that you are getting one of the best workouts of your life. This intense practice transforms your body and mind. It works.Studio welcomes first-time students as well as experienced yogis.

I love this place! The atmosphere is not only friendly and welcoming, but it's really clean! The locker rooms are spacious with showers and hair dryers and hair tools! I tried hot yoga at a different place and hated it, and swore to never do it again. My friend that goes there said I should try hot yoga at Southern... More

I was allowed to drop in since I am from out of town on business. I was able to rent a mat, mat towel, and buy water. The studio was beautiful with a cozy atmosphere. Clean locker room with wristlets keys. Studio is large and was mildly hot. The 80 flow was a perfect workout with quiet meditation time at... More

I went to Southern Om with a friend who convinced me to try yoga. I had never tried it before. She failed to mention, it was hot yoga. I LOVED it!! The staff is incredible! Everyone is very welcoming and willing to explain poses, especially if you are new. There's a mat washing station in the back. The locker rooms... More

A friend referred me to Southern Om, and I was unsure about the "hot" aspect at first, but my reservations were quickly dismissed after my first class. I've done yoga for about 5 years on and off, and I would classify myself as a beginner to intermediate. I found the class environment to be very welcoming and comfortable for all... More

This is a really nice yoga studio. After doing yoga classes for years where the instructors just did their own practice along with the class, it was so nice to find a place where the instructors actually walk around correcting posture and helping the students. Studio is clean and well-maintained. The variety of classes offered is great. The cold lavender... More

I have been practicing here for about a year and a half. Everything is top notch from the teachers, who are warm and kind, to the beautiful locker room, which is stocked with everything you need. Oh and I must not forget the shopping at Southern Om. The selection of yoga apparel rivals most stand alone stores anywhere. You can... More

I love this studio for Hot Yoga. The owner and teachers are kind and welcoming. The studio has a boutique with many brands of clothing and mats for yoga. Amenities include very clean locker rooms with showers and filtered water for filling bottles. My favorite class is the Southern 26 class.
