The swamp rabbit trail is great! Don't be put off by the ultra decked out bikers or perfect runners! Even an overweight person like me can bike the distance from the children's park in downtown Greenville to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe for a drink of something cold and a scone and then continue on to Furman. Slightly uphill, but mostly... More

The city needs to mark this trail... if you want a long bike ride it is impossible to know where to get back on trail stops and starts with frequency we found ourselves in a bad neighborhood standing around with GPS for direction.. it is a beautiful area!!! If a city employee biked tge trail they might have first hand... More

Walkers, runners and bicycleist will all enjoy this trail from Greenville to Travelers Rest, SC. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on trail. Greenville, SC is very bike friendly offering bike lanes on many roads and Swamp Rabbit.

This is the way bike trails should be. There are tons of great amenities along this path. I love that there are 2 great bike shops, tons of food options and a few nice coffee houses along the way. There was a little bit of bike traffic and foot traffic while we were there, but nothing that prevented you from... More

We do the trail from the Swamp Rabbit cafe to Furman or Travelers Rest depending on how many miles we want to do. Relatively flat terrain. Great for kids. Stop and have lunch at the Whistle Stop cafe or get some Ice Cream in TR.

The trail is impressive and is a great place to walk or bike but it was closed on the far side of Falls on the Reedy and there was an awful lot of construction going the other way. It will be better in the future

The Swamp Rabbit is the perfect bike outing for both seasoned and occasional cyclists. The trail from downtown Greenville to Travelers Rest (about 10 miles one way) has a gradual incline, and the Swamp Rabbit Cafe, a great place to stop for a meal or a treat, is just a short distance outside of downtown. You'll find serious cyclists, families,... More

Great place to run, bike, or take a romantic stroll with your significant other. It's a beautiful nature trail that cuts right through the downtown Greenville.

Our family loved the Swamp Rabbit Trail. You can walk it or bike it, the route takes you from downtown Greenville , thru the edge of Furman, and ends in Travelers Rest. We had a large group , from 4 to 70 and everyone loved being out on a gorgeous late March day. There are a number of clearly marked... More
