They have an excellent collection and the staff are very nice and helpful. They are, however, very much of the Lost Cause school of history and you can expect a very pro-Confederate view to be given.

This little gem has a fine collection of very rare Confederate small arms and field artillery. There all also rare photographs of Confederate veterans reunions, showing both european-american and african-american comrades-in-arms, who fought together in integrated combat units.

I took my Dad there because he is into Civil War History. You could spend hours there viewing all the artifacts and books. Very well organized and helpful staff.
