What was forecast to be a rainy day on our vacation we headed 20 minutes south of Litchfield to Georgetown. I was not excited to visit the Rice Museum but it was immensely enjoyable and educating. Our guide Zenobia was very well informed and interesting.

This is a very interesting museum. It tells you the story of the rice culture of the Lowcountry. At one time Georgetown was one of the largest growers of rice. Interesting artifacts!!
