My wife was ding Roller Derby for a short time and one of the coaches of the Columbia Quad Squad owns this place and they hang out here. It is a very friendly bar with a great atmosphere for drinking and feeling safe. I went in here in my military dress uniform one night during a ball at the convention... More

Just went back for a college reunion of sorts. They have built a nice stage in the side room. Other than that, it looks like it did in 1995. A fun throwback. Decent prices and quick service too.

I want to give this place a second chance hoping that it was a one time thing but I am so turned OFF that I would rather go anywhere else. Please find some bartenders that actually speak to their customers. I went with a group of friends and we all had three-four rounds of beer and the guy didn't say... More

Funky and fun bar in downtown - mostly locals. Has a great outdoor patio. Inside is decorated with an eclectic combination of Christmas lights and sci-fi posters - really neat spaces, with a dance floor / DJ space in the back. Bartenders are friendly and helpful, as well as other patrons. Went on an 80's apocalypse night, and had a... More

As previously stated, the bartenders are EXTREMELY unfriendly. If they smile at you, Jesus might be coming back to Earth because I'm pretty sure it's against their rules to even be the slightest of happy. HOWEVER.... I have had the best time here. Great live music, reasonably and well priced drinks and a fun crowd. I will be back many... More

This is a good place to go with your friends. Do not expect good service or a table since it is a bar to have drinks, listen to some poetry, dance or do some kind of cultural stuff. I really enjoyed it.

Art Bar can be one of your best nights out or it can feel like you wasted your night. The crowd is very mixed: Straight, gay, married, single, partnered, confused and unsure. When the DJ is playing, it's insane! You can dance the night away with strangers, but if it's live music, you'll probably wished you had started home bc... More

I was forcefully removed from this place with no explanation. After having my drink spilled on me, and getting shoved into a wall and then out the door, they finally told me what they thought was wrong. They said that I was drinking on a tab that wasn't mine. In fact, I was drinking on my wife's tab, on our... More
