The back bike route is ok, but only about 5.5 miles. If you have to stop to go to the bathroom area before a hike, just use the woods. It's cleaner. I've never seen such a disgusting, noisy, horrible place in my life. People screaming...More

We stayed at Sesquicentennial State park on the way out West as well as returning to the East Coast. It is a beautiful park with a lot to offer. The trees are tight in some camp spots which make backing the travel trailer in a...More

I have been to many beautiful and amazing parks in my life all around the world. This one is one of my favorites. Not because of the fauna, wildlife or historical statues, but because this is the Goldilock park for me. It is not too...More

Clean with walking trails and a lake. Camping available as well. Nature education offered to. A lauded back park. Splash pad is fun for the kids. Splash pad can get crowded with daycare kids. Go early or late in day.

After exercising on a different trail in the morning, we attempted a different location for lunchtime fun. What began as an "easy" pond trail soon turned into an all out moderate level hike lol. After awhile, we ended up just getting off the trail and...More

Stayed her for four nights. The campground is not well taken care of. The sites are not level and are full of roots and tree stumps in the middle. Lots of tripping hazards. The road in the campground is mostly sand with some gravel and...More

There are spots that could handle almost anything. The roads are pretty bad and a lot of sites are not very level but I still like it there. Your best bet is to call the ranger directly at the park. They are always helpful... More
