The mansion is the key to understand why Clemson exists today. Lovingly preserved it tells the story of the Clemson & Calhoun families. Conveniently located in the middle of the campus.

Fort Hill Plantation is a worthwhile stop if your in Clemson. The lady who answered all our questions and gave us the history of the house was very knowledgeable and did a great job. We really enjoyed our time there.

Was walking around campus and found this surprise. Luckily for us it was open and we were able to make a quick tour. We wished that we had more time - was very interesting.

We went on a Sunday and it was open on Saturday as well. Not sure of hours but I would think at least 10-4 would be safe.
