Joe Riley Stadium is home to the Charleston Riverdogs, concerts, camps, and other activities. It is one of the nicest minor league stadiums in America, and is situated on the banks of the Ashley River. It is extremely popular in Charleston, and Riverdog games are known across the country for their unique promotions, Friday night Fireworks, and one of their quirky co-owners (Bill Murray).

If you like baseball, plan a trip to the "Joe." We had a wonderful time. We were even lucky enough to get to sit in the special sofa behind homeplate. Go Riverdogs!

I have attended only two games at The Joe and both were collegiate games, not the RiverDogs. Collegiate games here are sparsely attended - I'd estimate only about 300 people at both games I attended in a ballpark that must seat about 6000. Consequently, not...More

We watched a RiverDogs game and just loved it! My son caught a foul ball and the players were so friendly about chatting and signing balls. They have a little of everything food and drink-wise. We were thinking it was going to be a little...More

We had a great night at the game. Family Friendly and Fun. Hot Dogs, the mascot Charlie entertained the kids at the game. We were in the club with excellent food by Mercantile and Mash.

Purchased tickets for game- usually go 4-5 times a season- discovered schedule conflict-went to ticket office and asked for another date in exchange- told NO ‘cause date was printed on purchased tickets. No joke- of course date was on tickets. Any reasonable business would accept...More

This is a great place to watch a baseball game. Great sight lines, plenty of seating, wonderful ballpark food. Only downside is the fact a New York Yankee farm team plays there. Go Red Sox.

We've gone to a couple of RiverDogs games at "The Joe," and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were able to get seats just a few rows back from the field, between home and first base, for under $10. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, for...More

Always a good time and Thirsty Thursday is FUN! Come for the baseball, stay for the beer! And the children love it... the baseball, not the beer.

Great minor league ballpark. New York Yankees affiliate. I was there for a Riverdogs game vs. the Columbia Fireflies. The field is in pristine condition. Sight lines are great. If you are there for a night game and you are seated down the 3rd base...More
