We used this company twice to take us back to our hotel after long days of walking through the historic district - so glad we did - it was kind of an adventure. Nice guys that were our 'pedalers'. It a MUST do for fun!

This is a great way for two people to get around down town for roughly $11.00 total. If you need to get somewhere in a hurry I would suggest another mode of transportation or plan ahead. This is a unique ride and nice employees.

Charleston offers a free shuttle, carriage rides and rickshaw rides, all of which are highly recommendable. The rickshaw ride we took, however, was nothing short of awesome. We didn't catch our driver's name, which is a real shame, but he was very nice and talked...More

After walking extensively, our tired feet needed a break. Dave Hood showed up on his bicycle to pull 3 of us in his Rickshaw. What a treat. He was professional and warm, lending his knowledge of things to see in Charleston to his tireless energy....More

We wanted a tour and the young man was full of info on our ride back to our hotel. We waved down the 1st one we saw but he had a call and radio to another pedicab to pick us up.

My wife and used this service twice, once to go to the harbor for a cruise. Nic was our first "driver" and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a fun and relatively inexpensive way to travel.

Sweet guys. Very polite. We'll worth the $5 per person. Saves time and let's you enjoy the view. Hope soon to see all (electric) rickshaws and let the horses retire. The horses are not happy ones.

Are the pedicabs relatively easy to get in and out of? My husband has had a hip replacement. Thanks for any info. Also are there fixed rates or do we negotiate with the pedicab owner?

Pedicabs are fairly easy to get into. They are equipped with a step attached to the platform making it easier for customers to enter. Also drivers can pull up to the curb which makes getting in a breeze for anyone. Answered... More
