Our group opted for a small tour bus with a few stops. The smaller bus picked us up at our lodging & offered great visibility & a spirited storyteller guide, Brian McCrea. We learned some "Chawleston" history, customs & vernacular along with seeing the city through time. We gained perspective from many changes due to war, fire, weather & earthquakes... More

We took the city tour with John. He is very knowledgeable and gave us too much information to absorb...in a good way. It piqued our curiosity to learn more. He does not believe in following a set script or route, which adds a genuine and spontaneous feel to the tour. This proved helpful as he had to find a rest... More

We did the Middleton Planation tour. It was about 20 minute ride to plantation. Our guide talked to one of the tourist about airplanes on our way to the plantation. When we arrived he walked with us through the grounds/swampy areas. He talked about the alligators on the property. Then he dropped us off at the restaurant to finish the... More

Family reunion was made even more exciting by the tour our group took through the eclectic streets of the fantastic city of Charleston. Our guide was sooo aware of the ins and outs of Charleston's tainted, yet spectacular history. He was able to inform our group of highly educated individuals of "stuff" that's not in the history books. Don't leave... More

We had a large group and Jane in the office arranged to accomodate our group. She gave us guidance for our bus driver and took care of so much. Alice was so knowledgeable about history. She could answer all our questions and she covered so much!!! I highly recommend this companys city tour.

We took the 90 minute city tour with a guide named John. He was very experienced doing Charleston tours and had very good knowledge of the city's history - especially African American. John was a little sarcastic at times & I think some of the other tourists didn't fully appreciate his humor. However, he was truly exceptional in his knowledge... More

We did not have a good experience with this company. We were waiting in our hotels lobby about 15 minutes before our tour was suppose to begin. As we sit patiently for our bus to come around the corner, our tour time comes around still no bus. We wait a little more, until our concierge approaches who knew we were... More

For my money this is the way to see several homes and gardens that are not necessarily visible from the front. The Garden Club of Charleston organizes these tours each year and they start in March. I bought tickets for 2 days in April and enjoyed what I saw on each tour. Word of advice, start the tour on time... More
