We spoke to a very helpful staff member and booked our Gray Line bus tour which leaves right from the visitor center. It is loaded with coupons and guides plus displays of local history and art. This is a nice Visitor Center. The employees are friendly and helpful. The gift shop has a good selection of items at better prices than we saw elsewhere.

Bravo Zulu to the folks at the Visitor's center. They helped make... More

An excellent place to organize your trip. Tons of information. Coupons are available for some destinations. They offer a heritage pass. They are very friendly and can even help you with some bookings.

Stopped in to pick up maps and discovered that they were having an art sale. Lots of Charleston history on exhibit as well as lots of publications. Lovely light filled space with lots of comfortable seating if you just want to take a break. Very welcoming place.

My husband and I went to the Visitor Center to get info and tickets. The building is very nicely laid out, pleasant folks to help you out, and a trolley stop out front.
