We typically check out aquariums on trips. This venue explores the many eco systems of South Carolina. The staff are very welcoming and informative. After going through the admission process (about $30 for an adult), you walk up a ramp to the ray pool and get to see several of them swimming around. After that you enter the main aquarium and go up an escalator (or elevator) to the second floor and are greeted by a bald eagle (what else would you expect in an aquarium?). After that there are fish (including sharks, jellies, sea horses), turtles, frogs, lobsters, and more. There are pictures of many of the species so you can play "Where's Waldo?" as you watch them move about the tanks. There is dining and a gift shop. COVID-19: the employees were all masked and visitors were expected to be masked and maintain appropriate social distance from each other. They also request you purchase a timed, dated online ticket to control the number of visitors in the aquarium.…
