My wife and I took the afternoon golf cart tour of the Cayce Riverwalk park that includes the Timmerman Trail and absolutely loved it. We had contacted the City of Cayce, Patty Rabon, 803-602-2571 to reserve a spot on the Thursday tour. We were picked...More

Timmerman Trail provides a fantastic hiking experience. Not only is the trail beautiful and well kept, but the natural and human history that it intersects is amazing. Because it goes through a good bit of wetlands, be sure to take insect repellent in the spring...More

Perfect trail for walk, cycle or run. It’s clean and well maintained. You could easily take a stroller with you also. I am planning to take my dog there most days for a walk. I came across a couple that just saw an alligator also,...More

The Timmerman trail is great for both hiking and biking. The trial is wide and well-kept. On my last hike, I saw an alligator (from a distance), numerous birds, and tracks of numerous animals. The views of the river and wetlands is inspiring.

Wife and I just bicycled the Trail, didn't want to get off! Nice 7+mile ride, in a loop, connecting to 5 miles more going into "suburban" Columbia, SC - Being from DC, it's all rural/layed back/ and fun - Great creek-scape going into a path...More

The updates on timmerman keep improving. A nice 3.5 mile loop or 6 mile out and back (onto riverwalk to state street) for running or biking. The cleanup after storms is slower than some of the other parks but hey, you're in the woods!
