We've been to a few "off beat" museums/tours; spam, mustard, jelly belly, and now kazoo. As a family with small children (5 & 6) we enjoyed it all! Our tour guides, Ashley and Lilly were fantastic. You could tell they loved their jobs and had...More
We're down in the sea islands on vacation and went into Beaufort for a day to check out some of the shops, museums, etc. This was the perfect stop to add to the day just for our eight year old son. He was charmed by...More
The Kazoo Factory also has an T-shirt and artwork section. I always enjoy going in there as it also in the Kazoo Factory. There is always a bunch kids and adults enjoying playing (or trying to) the Kazoos and having a wonderful time!
It is always good to support an American business. This place is small and the tour has no bells and whistles, but the staff is very friendly. The $5 tour lets you build your own kazoo and that was the best part. My daughter loved...More
Our visit was interesting for old and young. Learned some interesting facts, it took about 45 mins. Our grandchildren were visiting for a few days and we needed something to do beside the beach and playgrounds. This was just the right distraction.
The Kazoo Factory is a very fun outing with the kids. Or kids of all ages? We took our grandnephew and he thoroughly enjoyed the tour and then assembling his own kazoo to take home. The tour price includes the standard kazoo, but there are...More
I enjoy the out of the ordinary things in life, which just so happens to lead me to a great visit with these guys! Thanks to Lily and the workers that remain unnamed for being great educators on how kazooing is done! Thank you very...More
I stopped with my wife, dad, and 6 years old son. We had a really good time. My son enjoyed the videos over the history and making of kazoos. We all enjoyed the demonstration of how they put the kazoos together. The big winner was...More
Thanks to Kami and Ashley for teaching us a little history and treating us to tons of fun! Kazoo Factory is a great way to beat the heat for an hour and make your own Kazoo! We all laughed until we cried watching each other...More

They do tours every day they are open. They do them whenever you stop in. It's a small place. The "facotry" part is really just them putting the final pieces together for shipment since the real production facility is elsewhere. But, the girls put on a great show and they have a small kazoo museum there as well. I suggest you check their website to see hours and days since they may shut down in December for the Christmas season.
