Be sure to visit the Kazoo Factory while you are in Beaufort. Sure a Kazoo is silly but the world needs a little silly fun these days.There really IS a museum and it's quite informative. It's worth a visit!
This was a great quick stop off during my trip to Beaufort. Kami and Sarah were fantastic at explaining the history and the production of the Kazoo. The best part was making your very own kazoo to take home!! Fun for all ages!!!

They do tours every day they are open. They do them whenever you stop in. It's a small place. The "facotry" part is really just them putting the final pieces together for shipment since the real production facility is... More
They do tours every day they are open. They do them whenever you stop in. It's a small place. The "facotry" part is really just them putting the final pieces together for shipment since the real production facility is elsewhere. But, the girls put on a great show and they have a small kazoo museum there as well. I suggest you check their website to see hours and days since they may shut down in December for the Christmas season.
