I love the old Saint Peter's Catholic Church in historic downtown Beaufort. This quaint, simple, yet holy Church is so peaceful on the inside. There is only one bathroom, and it has hard to get to, so plan ahead.

My husband and I attended Sunday afternoon services. The church is lovely and the service was great. We wish this church was located in Atlanta!

We were on a bicycle tour of the area and came across this little Catholic church. Nice area--a lady we spoke with who was walking nearby had nice things to say about the masses and congregation.

We visited for a mass at the church. Wonderful and very scenic setting. Everyone was most helpful and ensured we enjoyed our visit.

Attended Sunday 10 AM High Mass. Childrens choir was excellent. Church is a short drive from Bay Street. Father Paul is very friendly and welcoming.

Come hear a wide variety of music from Latin to Gullah during the Masses. Notice the stained glass windows especially in the chapel which is open 24/7.

The church is an impressive church, but not old. The mass we attended (Sunday 10:00 a.m.) had excellent music, and a great local feeling (elegant candlelabras, music which had a protestant feeling, more respectably dressed parishioners than the usual tourist areas).

Saturday evening in Beaufort, we queried the web for a nearby church. There is only one in Beaufort, so we noted the mass times and jotted down the street address for OnStar. To our surprise and delight, the church is only 3.8 mi. from the...More
