I'm not from the area and was able to find this beach. I got there a little after 8am on a Saturday and there were already 10-15 cars already parked. Parking was $35 and was cash only.

Just LOVE coming here Parking can be a little tough but a little walk (through a beautiful quaint village) never hurt nobody?!) And be sure to save some time after to see the country's oldest operating carousel. It's located right there in town (where you...More

Great beach, quiet if you get there early. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach and a lot of rocks. Best to wear shoes that can go into the water. Be there before 9:00 a.m. for a good spot, bring lots of sunblock...More

We enjoyed this quiet uncrowded beach very much! The kids had a great time riding the waves. Not very large waves but enough for them. We parked in the middle of the ocean on our right and a lake on the left! So after the...More

While staying at The Ocean House, we took the time to walk the beaches, and ended up in East Beach, some distance away. As we had walked from The Ocean House, parking was not an issue for us. Since this was just before Memorial Day,...More

Friends, go to the big state beaches. There is ample parking for a reasonable price. This Watch Hill Beach area was a waste of two hours looking for it! $30 to park or you park 1.5 miles away and schlep your kids, gear and beach...More

Expansive view of southern Rhode Island coast line. Like any beach in the area, it is very rough in a storm surge. The town of Watch Hill is close by with some activity and plenty of shopping

This Beach is for the 1%ers..... Everyone else is considered trash. Parking costs as well as getting into the Beach. They jack the prices so they can keep out the rif-raff.

The beach here has nothing. The waves were not even that good. There is absolutely nothing special about this beach or the area generally. Everyone is very mean. The cops don't give you directions anywhere. Everyone seems angry that you have come to give them...More

We spent some time at the Ocean House and got to enjoy East Beach while we were there. The beach is clean and very beautiful. There are lots of rocks as well as ample sand areas. The waves are good and the water is cool....More

Hi if there are any baths/dressing rooms I'm not aware of them. And there is also a walk down a little pebble/dirt trail from the street to even get down there. There really isn't a place to just drop off close. I think you... More

There aren't any easily, quickly accessible right on the beach. We did find some restrooms up by the carousel/merry-go-round - which would be a hike of you really had to go.
