Great Beach!

My first time here was in August of 2016 and I would totally return. There was plenty of parking and plenty of places to park yourself in the sun and sand for the day.

This is a beautiful beach especially for families with kids. Some waves but not enough to to have to worry about the kids. Nice facilities. Always a great fun day with the family. Bring sunscreen no areas of shade.

This Beach is Easy to get to. Parking Fee: $12-$14. They will accept credit cards. Great restroom facilities and food concession. Ramps from parking lot to beach for handicap and beach buggy carriages. The beach is amazingly clean and sand is silky soft. Plenty of lifeguards and great views. Water tends to run warmer temperature here dfue to southerly currents.... More

This is a great beach if you don't like big waves. Plenty of parking and well groomed sand. Great views at the end of the day with the setting sun! If your not sure what beach to visit in South County try this one - it will soon become one of your favorites.

Relaxing beach day here..I visited for the first time not long ago and was happily surprised.. I really enjoyed it. The changing rooms were a bit messy but that is to be expected after a long sandy day. Parking was easy..lots of fun restaurants nearby.. Only gross thing was a dead fish was washed up on the shore..other than that... More

This beach was walking distance from a house that we have rented in August in Narragansett for the past 3 summers. We love it as we have a large family and this beach suits all the grandchildren from ages 2 thru 22 and all ages in between. The beach is sandy, not rocky, the water is calm, the lifeguards allow... Visited twice during our stay in Narragansett. There were hundreds of people there, but it didn't feel crowded in an overwhelming way. The parking fee was $12 on weekday and $14 on weekend, way cheaper than what we're used to paying! Lovely views and water. Navigating the rocks is only complaint!

The only decent thing about this beach is the calm surf, which is great for younger kids. This is a pack-in/pack-out beach and at first blush it looked relatively clean, but after stepping over rancid leftover food and swimming with trash floating in the water we decided that it wasn't hygienic enough to stay. Most disappointing was the staff -... More
